Page 1: ------- Making the Title is just easy, select Format-Heading-Hading1 and Format-Align-Center, and type. The format is restored to "Normal" after pressing return, the alignment not. So I reselect left align and search for a contents list. I choose bulleted (numbered was the only other choice), and enter the text. Setting a link is just easy, I klick on the "Link" button and it opens a window where I can enter the text and the target location (I can even select targets in the document and open a file browser). Now I see I want the text on the right side, so I choose to click on Table to divide the page into two columns. In the request, I just disable the border line and leave the rest as it is. I close the request and see nothing. The table disappeared. So I click around with the right mouse until "Table Properties" appears in the context menu, and add a border line again. I cut and paste the List into the table, and begin to enter the text. I prefer to have an empty line between the paragraphs, so I hit Return twice. As I create more text, the list on the left begins to "climb down" so I set the cell properties alignment to top. I add the numbered List under the Table. The numbers of the list are symbolized by a #. When adding the image over the list (middle of the page), Composer adds the whole file:// path so I have to correct it manually. I also have to center the paragraph with the format menu to get the image in the middle of the page. To give the colors I select "Page colors and Properties" and activate "use custom dolors". I click on Background and select a very ugly light green. There are no ways to incluce an E-Mail-adress, you have to know that it's a simple "mailto:"-link. At the End, I switch the table border off again. Page 2: ------- The title is nearly the same procedure as on the first page, but right aligned. As the page Background is black, I have to change the normal text color, too, as (by default) it is also black. There's a nice preview box so I can see this before I leave the "Document Properties" popup. But the Cursor still is black and thus is invisible :-( So I choose to change the color to grey while working and correct it at the end. In the Table Properties, I can only give % and pixels as measurement, so I have to try with the pixel size to get the wanted sizes. The alignment inside the cell is adjustable in the table/cell properties. To add the link I switch to the first window, select the last line and click on "Target". The Text is suggested as target name, so I leave it. A fancy target symbol appears near the text. Now I select the link text in the second page and make a link. I click on "Selected file" and enter the name of the first file. But the Target is not recognized as I forgot to save the file 1. So I have to close the requester and do the whole procedure again after saving file 1. Now I can click on the name of the Target I created. The text is still right aligned, I change this for the following line. I enter the text, click on the line, change the format to "Heading 1" and enter the text "More fun with tables" - but the "stupid text" over the division line also got reformatted. So I click in this line and change the format to "Normal" again. The Heading line gets reformatted synchroneusly. I need to press "Return" at the beginning of the Heading (with no visible effect) to be able to format it independently. Now I add the second Table and the four dots... Afterwards ---------- Although I clicked on "Leave Image at original location", i have a copy of the wasp image in my directory which is referred from the page instead of the original.
